Yom Kippur is the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. It is a day on which we feel highly spiritual and deeply introspective. Children certainly do sense this, but might be somewhat bewildered. The day is long, adults are serious, prayers are unfamiliar, and awe permeates the air. Join Shira at the Temple and experience how she courageously and creatively offers her own unique Yom Kippur prayer to God.
Shira’s stories are sprinkled with Hebrew words, greetings and blessings. Her stories will appeal to children in Jewish pre-schools, Sunday schools, Jewish Day schools and in every Jewish home.
